Story Time

We currently offer two story times a week, one in the morning and one in the evening.  All children are welcome with an adult.  We usually read stories, sing songs, and do finger plays and rhymes.  At this time, no registration is necessary.  Meet in the Story Time Room.

  • Morning Story Time, Wednesdays at 10:00AM to 10:30AM (September through April).

Summer Reading Program

Get kids excited about reading!  The yearly Summer Reading Program (during the months of June and July) teaches children to read for enjoyment, as well as help them retain their reading abilities over the summer months!  There are always special programs, story times, reading clubs, craft events, prizes, and more.  Every child who completes there reading goal will win a free book of their choice and be entered in the grand prize drawing for even more fantastic prizes!  Stay tuned for more information.

Special Events

Youth Services hosts special performers throughout the year.  Some of the visitors to the library in the past have been story tellers, magicians, puppeteers, musicians, balloon artists, and of course IPTV's very own Dan Wardell.  Stay tuned for more information.
